Indian Badminton star Saina Nehawal has won to major titles in short time period of one week. After winning Thailand Open last Sunday she defeated world rank three Chinese player to lift the Indonesian Open on 17th of June.
Saina beat the formidable Li Xuerui of China 13-21, 22-20, 21-19 to win her third Indonesia Open title in four years.
Going into the final, Li had beaten World No. 1 Yihan Wang in the semifinals and also got the better of the current World Champion in All England and Asian Championships.
Despite losing first game quite convincingly, Saina Nehwal (the world No. 5), who
demolished Ji Sung of Korea in straight games in the semi-final, made a great comeback to save two match points in the
second game and win both the second and third game with close
margins to complete a victory.
With her current form Saina is looking all set to perform her best in upcoming London Olympics. Although during the post match press conference she said that she is really thinking about the Olympics right now and is focusing on her game and fitness standards more.
Saina Nehwal told the media that she has been trying to control her nerves and play crucial points with more intensity and this had helped her in winning these to back to back titles.s
