Shamefull, Disgusting, Black spot on Democratic setup-These words are not enough.

Today Indian Parliament is in pitiable insane condition.

The Indian democracy has seen many many days where any or all parties have been guilty of not letting the Parliament function. The abusive language, snatching mikes, throwing chairs and all sorts of disgusting things  have happened in the temple of democracy and over the years most of us if not all have started to take it as normal. All the political parties over the years have maintained that this is one of the ways to show your disagreement with whatever is happening in the house. Specially when the governing parties or the governing coalitions try to introduce new bills or amendments without consulting the house. Though There is the obvious political side to this.

Politicians and political parties have time and again used these sort of non democratic and ill-will methods to gain advantages or harm the political opponents. I am sure that non of the parties that are there can claim to be clean with respect to adjourning the house as and when they like or they require to. The Indian National Congress has done this to shield its Members of parliament whenever they were caught in some sort of scam or corruption or crime. The opposition has also been interrupting house for years. In fact the current government may have seen most number of hours to have been ruined due to the chaos in house.

All said and done there had not been a worst day in the functioning of the house than today. The Respected Members of Parliament today did it all. From spraying pepper, kick-boxing each other, attacking each other with mikes (some saw them as knife), braking tables and snatching day's schedule from speaker's table. The most unbelievable fact is that the chaos was not created by any opposition party member but the ones who belong to the ruling party.

The script had already been prepared by the governing coalition yesterday when they introduced the interim railway budget in a house full of chaos. The political critics had not yet finished criticizing the unusual incident and today all this occurs. The management skills of the UPA had already been under the scanner for days and they had been blamed to have staged this drama where nothing seems to be under control. One should not forget that these people belong to same party that supposedly has the most strict central command in the hands of Gandhi Family.

I have intentionally avoided touching upon the so called central or main issue "Telangana" as it has no significance with respect to the standards we have reached in terms of functioning of the Democratic setup.
The honorable speaker has already suspended the 17 members of parliament who were involved in this shameful act. Meanwhile the parties have started to give it a political color of their liking.

It remains to be seen if country still has to suffer more until the next election or weather all this is actually because of the upcoming elections. I as one of the Indian citizens can only pray that nothing of this sort is ever ever ever repeated again it the future.

Indian politics- Rahul gets aggressive, is it for General Elections?

India is getting into real clear politics for next general elections and Rahul Gandhi prepares himself for next power transaction.

Government loses it to 1.2 billion-

Finally after the immense pressure from all sides the government had to step back on its decision to fight for culprits and allow them easy access to elections and other democratic processes. The government was hell-bent on providing the politicians an escape root so that they could participate in the elections despite having being proven criminals and corrupts.

Government tried to support crime and culprits-

The event took place because Indian Supreme court gave an arrangement ( directive) in which it prohibited the politicians from participating in any elections provided they have been proven guilty by a court. The honorable court also made the arrangement that all those who have been sentenced for more than or equal to two years of imprisonment would automatically stand disqualified from the house of elected representatives.

But knowing the political parties in India, we knew that they will all get together to negate the decision. The party in power began its efforts to facilitate the inclusion of corrupt into the parliament and the rest followed the procession. There was not even a single political party that stood against the (in-haste) ordinance that was brought about by the UPA government. Despite the fact that there was a bill pending in house on the same subject the government decided to go ahead with the ordinance and if fact was successful in passing it without even putting it for a in-house discussion.

Indian President proves he not a mere RUBBER STAMP-

The Ordinance reached the president for his signatures so that it can be formally adopted as a legal framework. Fortunately our President somehow came to understand the illegalities associated with the ordinance and he summoned some top ministers from the government and explained to them the difficulties and also advised them for a reconsideration.
Meanwhile the common man also began to express its concerns about an ordinance that stood between him and a fair and cleaner system. The media also came into its own and protested against the awful manner in which the government tried to function. All these incidents made it difficult for the government to justify its stand on corruption.

Rahul wanted to prove that he is a opt-able leadership option for voters-

And them came the much unexpected intervention from party prince Rahul Gandhi. The often deaf and dumb congressman suddenly appeared in a press conference and called the ordinance passed by his own men a complete nonsense. He wanted the ordinance to be torn up and thrown into a dustbin. Some said he insulted his own seniors and others said he should have echoed his views before it was sent to President office.

Whatever was the reason for his intervention, the result was worth being welcomed. The government in a tea ceremony meeting decided within half hour to withdraw the ordinance along with pending bill. The bill that required great great Mr. Kapil Sibbal and Mr. Chidambram days to be layed down was worth only half hour discussion? Well it was not even worth that but the people who were behind this did not resist the party supreme leaders to any extent whatsoever.

Its individuals and dynasties that run the country, not political parties and public representatives-

This incident shows that provided the top leadership of our political system take a firm stance on issues related to any field we can expect welcome-able outcomes. The unfortunate (irony) has been that non of the top leaders ever seemed to be in control of things and country went into a leadership crises. I am not bailing out Rahul Gandhi as very good leader but pointing out towards the years he has lost as a party kid who is still under training and observation of the so called great party members who were good for nothing for last five years. Had Rahul or Manmohan or Soniya taken such stance on issues in past the country and its economy would not have suffered the way it did.

The hardcore truth is that its Election times once again-

But wait, isn't it the time for next General elections? So does it mean Rahul Gandhi is playing for the gallery? He must be aware of his party's poor situation and may have even understood the currents. And now he wants to project himself as a leader with some leadership qualities. It is getting very clear with every passing day as he becomes more and more outspoken and aggressive with every second press conference and political rally. In this succession he recently decided to take on the BSP supremo Mayavati and blamed her for hijacking the minorities and their movement. Not only that he even wanted to underplay or negate the corruption that his government has been a part of by saying that it was his party and the government that gave common man biggest tool against corruption - RTI.
One needs to remind him of entire process of this legal framework formulation. Also he needs to explain why his party wants to dilute the RTI by keeping political parties out of its reach. He needs to be reminded of how his party lead government overturned the Supreme court judgment which said that all political parties should come under the RTI. They passed the ordinance and handpicked themselves as some one who won't be questionable under RTI. Is there a big really big bank account that exists in Swiss banks by the account holder name written as - Indian National Congress? Or is it named after the Dynasty surname Gandhi?

Indian politics - Biggest opportunist Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Mulayam Singh proves that he is the pure opportunist in Indian politics.

Mulayam Singh Yadav has started cooing his favorite tunes again. He has been trying his level best to somehow create that illusive third front in Indian politics. He tried it in the year of Indian Presidential election when he tried to lure in TMC supremo Mamta for a tie up after she decided to quit the partnership with UPA.  Both these leaders were supposed to be cooking up a different dish of their own during the previous Presidential elections. But at the very last moment Yadav decided to back the UPA candidate Pranab Mukharji who eventually became Indian President.  Poor Mamta was left ditched thinking about her plans to disturb the central government that had pushed her aside because of her frequent interferences with the functioning of different ministries.

Mulayam has shown this dwindling non-credible character too many times in the past. He can change his manifesto and party themes over-night with respect to any issue. He did it during nuclear deal. He did it during the FDI bill episode by abstaining the voting in parliament. His party supported the congress election time populist Food bill.  He and his men have bailed out the UPA government on so many occasions. In fact there are not many political parties in India that Mulayam does not favour. And hence every time Mulayam comes close to another elections he begins his efforts to tie-up with any of the political parties in India. The only political party that seems distant to his ambitions is BJP.

Mulayam is one of those Indian politicians who don't bother about what people think about India and keep doing their best to somehow grab those powerful positions in the democratic setup. He named his party as Smajwadi Party but the way every one from his family gets the MP tickets and becomes minister of even chief minister just because he or she is a Yadav, shows you his type of politics clearly. The huge upsurge in the crime and corruption rates in his own state under his son's rule shows the kind of people that thrive under his protection and leadership. His is the same party that sacks an honest IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal and then defends the decision without any regrets. The senior ministers in his Utter Pradesh are being directly connected to the staging of recent riots in Utter Pradesh and the father and son duo (Mulayam and Akhilesh Yadav) honor the involved people with the grand dinner and lunches.

So here comes yet another such attempt from this Utter Pradesh minority politician. He is now claiming that his party will be making an alliance with Prakash Karat's left and might even make a government without the unwanted involvement of any of National parties, namely BJP and Indian National Congress. One must remember how he has been used and utilized by this UPA for its in-house majority purposes time and again while showing him the CBI stick constantly. So now he wants to manage his carrier without the blessing from the congressmen.

He may have guessed out that UPA has gone terribly wrong with its scams and corruption stories and it won't be able to come back to the center with any majority. In which case the BJP led NDA might be at the helm of affairs and which further could spell trouble for his CBI cases. He has been let off the hook by CBI for the time being. This might be the prize for his loyalties towards the current government. But as soon as BJP will get this tool CBI Mulayam is surely going to be one of the first to suffer the political heat.

Therefore this clever(actually clever than a wolf) Indian politician wants to make some timely arrangements. He might be dreaming of a situation where both the central parties and their respective fronts don't get enough votes for the formation of government and he along with his friends from the LEFT could make some kind of an odd arrangement in Delhi after the General elections.
Yes it is exactly as difficult as it was for me to write down the above jumble words. I had to arrange and rearrange the long sentence by grouping up those too many words in one line. Similarly Yadav needs to group up the parties that have totally different ideologies. But after all his day dreaming I am very much confident while saying that there was no third front in Indian politics and their won't be any in near future.

The regional politicians are more worried about their own carrier than the democracy of our country. The likes of Mulayams, Mayavatis and Lalus are who are responsible for the rapidly decreasing popularity of this democratic setup. All these regional stalwarts started out as representatives for different sections of society but ended up representing their own political ambitions and hiding wrong doings. May God bless them all with appropriate punishment for their selfish deeds.

5 reasons why Voters can't vote for a Narender Modi.

Narendra Modi may have done wonders for Gujarat But is he worth the leading our nation?

narendra modi image-narendra modi during his speech
  1.  Narendra is after all an individual who would be contesting for one or two seats during upcoming General Elections. He surely can't be a candidate for every parliament-seat in this country. The way his party is projecting him and only him, makes me think if there is no other face in this right wing political party that is worth leading us or even worth being discussed? The prime-ministerial candidate can not be the only issue for me to vote for. The local representatives of party must also be alive and active so that I can chose someone out of them. This is not the presidential election in USA where your votes might directly decide the leader of the country. We have already once paid price for voting for an identity, Soniya Gandhi. In the 2003 elections she was projected as sure prime ministerial candidate but whatever happened thereafter was like cheating the voters who voted for her term as prime minister.
  2.  The country went through a lot during last five years. We saw all kinds of corruption issues, agitations, neglected reforms, encroaching neighbors and above all economic slow down. There are a lot more such important issues that one needs answers for but unfortunately Narendra Modi's divergent strategies are making all these issues secondary to his aura. We know that the political parties in India have not stood up for anything all this while and therefore the non-existent issue of Hinduism was tossed up. They can't afford to talk about real issues so they created issues. I won't put entire blame solely on BJP for such irrelevant politics, the statements that were issued by our Home minister and other men in power were also deliberately directed so as to facilitate this diversion. Our Home minister coined new terms like saffron terrorism and unfair targeting of minorities just to make sure he won't have to talk about his own government's performance for last five years. Conclusion- We don't bother about who our prime ministerial candidate is, but we are more worried about the issues that should be raised for somewhat relevant elections.
  3.  Narendra Modi comes out of a state that experienced hell. The 2002 earth
narendra the controversial leader of bjp struggles to respect minorities
quake was one of the biggest tragedies that Humanity suffered at the beginning of this century. No doubt Narendra has done some good work in rehabilitation of the devastated society but we have to remember the riots as well. I am no one to blame him for whatever happened. But as a chosen leader of that state one expected him to answer a few questions. Narendra Modi should name the culprits of the massacre (and should already have delivered justice by putting them behind the bars but...) . He should have clarified his position on his alleged role in all this. Till date there is no conclusion to the matter and news-stories about investigation being hampered and tempered with keep coming out of Gujarat. His interference with state Governor's appointment and functioning and his poor Jan-Lokpal bill give the wrong signals about his political thoughts regarding reforms.  If BJP wants the voters to overlook one or two mistake of its supreme leader still the fact that all the success that Narendra has is linked to one state out of 28 states and 7 union territories is an issue. How well and how widely the other parts of our country know and follow Modi type politics still remains unanswered. Narendra has traveled to a few election rallies outside his state and the results don't seem encouraging for him at the national level.
  4. The BJP has suffered due to internal friction among different groups that either existed for years or began with Modi's promotion to the leader-board. This raises the question if Narendra Modi will behave like one man army in
narendra modi and adwani standing together but still to far
power? Obviously its impossible for any individual to take care of a country without much support.
Earlier We saw an annoyed Yediurappa falling away from party and he made his own party thus weakening his party in the south where it struggles to make an impact apart from Shivraj performing in one state. Lal Krishna Adwani is very well known for his anti Modi thoughts and his own dreams of leading the country one day. The party seems to be dealing with its stalwarts with different measuring tapes. What if these biggies decide to further bifurcate the unit and cause Modi to lose the much needed majority in Parliament? We as voters don't feel confident about BJP as a party. Its dwindling stand on issues like FDI and Jan-Lokpal have already done enough harm to the party image.
  5. Narendra Modi is known as aggressive leader and his recent remarks about international issues make him an instant hit in a country which lacks leaders with some back-bone. The way he puts NATION FIRST is the USP of brand Narendra Modi. But I can't forget that this fire-brand politician is still listed as negative character in some countries that deny him any visa. I can't and I won't compare him with any terrorist (who is most likely to be forbidden a visa) but I also don't want to see my Prime-Minister on some hit-list. The international community still sees Narendra Modi as a hardliner who could be dangerous for their social structure and I as a voter cant invest my valuable vote in such a doubtful character.

Narendra Modi since his coronation as BJP prime ministerial candidate has gained in popularity and there are no two ways about it. But the kind of politics he and his party are imposing on the voters is something that might not suit each and every voter. He has done some brilliant things in Gujarat but his real acid test is yet to be conducted. He is the bulldozing name that not only can destroy any opposition but can also create a havoc in his own surroundings as well. As a voter who puts India First I am still waiting for his view(apologies) for the riots. But as we all know Modi, he is not here to change his image and wants to ride a wave that according to me is slowly understanding him in and out very well.
