The Red Zone
The democracy is feeling the heat of some really hard extremist waves.A vast region and huge population of our country lies under a region, now being referred to as Red Zone/Red Corridor.
What is the actual state of situation?, may be only a handful are aware about. For the rest it is certainly a puzzle still to be solved.
We have had our UNFAIR share of cross border terrorism that hampered and damaged us for decades and still continues, and to join in was the Naxalite movements. While some of them might have reached stages where they could not take it anymore and instead of remaining completely ignored, sidelined or exploited they decided to go armed, the rest are just exploiting the whole issue.
The already backward and illiterate youth is being trained to act against its country and its constitution. These bad-guys are now getting more and more difficult to deal with. Blackmailing the administration is the method that they think will work for them The level of extremist thoughts is such that there seems to be no room for a positive constructive dialogue route ahead.
One should not forget that even if they were throughout neglected and hard-done with, all corrections are not possible on same day. More they keep distance with the government and administration, more time it will take to start new journey with and alongside mainstream people.
It will definitely take a lot of time , but at-least it can begin now.The naxal groups (provided they fight for THE common Man) must now slowly and steadily allow the administration to start functioning, as they have made their statement and have at-least come into the views of The neglecting ones. There is a lot of repair work to be done and trust to be reestablished and it needs to begin right now.
After all we are a free democratic nation and harming the society with any kind of narrow minded movements will be a threat to our own existence. What one should do is keep raising the bar, learn from our mistakes, correct them and develop right practices that are expected in a democracy.
